The NJ Chemistry Olympics does allow visitors, here are the rules.

Competition Information

NJIT does allow visitors to attend the NJ Chemistry Olympics, provided certain rules are met:

  • The Visitor's Fee is $20.00 per visitor, payable in cash at the registration table the morning of the NJCO event
  • Each visitor will be recorded in a logbook and issued a Visitor badge sticker, which must be worn visible at all times while on campus
  • Visitors must sign the Safety Guidelines and Photo Release upon registering at the registration table
  • Visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian, such as a team coach
  • Guardians who are not team coaches must also pay the Visitor's Fee at the registration table
  • Visitors are allowed to attend the Awards Ceremony and certain Events but are not allowed inside the labs during lab Events
  • Visitors are not eligible for breakfast/lunch, t-shirts/polos, or swag items
